Am I In Trouble? The Black Sheep Question!
|
"She thought I wanted her husband! Being the Black Sheep isn’t easy, but I’m here to help you protect your energy this holiday season." Hey Y’all, Let me share my latest group session tea. Several Black women spoke about the cost of code-switching and the fear of going “low” in certain spaces. You pay the price by staying in survival mode, even when you leave the office. Another woman spoke about family issues, and I get it. I was just accused of sleeping with my cousin’s husband. How can I cheat when I live in New York and they live in Texas? And yuck—her husband was in his 30s when I was in middle school. Soooo… what are you still doing with him if you think that? When I heard this last week, I stayed calm and grounded. It hurt, but it confirmed why I have my boundaries in place. Of course, she found out it isn’t true but hasn’t apologized. She will NOT have access to my energy until she does. Many cousins think I should be the bigger person, but the bigger person is someone who moves from a healed space. Protecting myself and honoring my boundaries is how I show up from a healed space. I am being the bigger person to my inner child and the woman watching me from the 5D. My higher self/future self is depending on me to break the chains for my family by honoring boundaries. I’m sharing this so you know I understand family dynamics and why I’m the best coach to guide you through them. I’m creating a Healing Through the Holidays guide to help you navigate this. The guide and bonuses will be $88 on November 9th. Vote below for the tips you need most:
